Maple + Marble (“Maple + Marble,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit maplemarble.com, contact us, visit our showroom, or work with us on a project, and what we do with it.

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your personal information, including your phone number, with third parties for their marketing purposes. That is covered in detail below.

This policy applies to maplemarble.com and to the phone, text, and email communications we have with customers and prospective customers. It does not apply to websites operated by other companies that we may link to, including manufacturer and vendor sites.

Information We Collect

We collect three kinds of information.

Information you give us directly. This is the bulk of it. When you fill out a contact or quote form, request a design consultation, sign up for our newsletter, call or text us, or become a customer, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Mailing, billing, and/or project address
  • Details about your project, such as room dimensions, photos, plans, product selections, and timeline
  • Appointment and showroom visit history
  • Payment information for orders and deposits, which is processed by our payment processor and not stored by us
  • Anything else you choose to include in a message to us

Information collected automatically. When you visit maplemarble.com, our systems and the analytics tools we use may record your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, time on page, and general location at the city or region level. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies. See the cookies section below.

Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from builders, contractors, designers, or realtors who refer you to us, from vendors and manufacturers involved in your order, and from advertising and analytics platforms that report on how visitors find our site.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions, quote requests, and form submissions
  • Schedule and confirm consultations, measurements, deliveries, and installations
  • Design, quote, order, and install your cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, hardware, and closet systems
  • Coordinate with the installers, fabricators, manufacturers, and contractors working on your project
  • Process payments, deposits, and orders
  • Provide warranty support and service after your project is complete
  • Send you appointment reminders and project updates by phone, text, or email
  • Send you marketing messages, newsletters, or promotions, but only if you have asked to receive them
  • Improve our website, showroom, and services, and understand how people find us
  • Keep records required for accounting, tax, warranty, and legal purposes
  • Prevent fraud and protect the security of our systems

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not build profiles about you to sell or share.

Text Messaging (SMS)

How you opt in. We send text messages only to people who have given us their mobile number and agreed to be texted. That happens when you check the consent box on a form on maplemarble.com, give us your number and permission in person or over the phone, or text us first.

What we send. Messages relate to your inquiry or project. That includes replies to your questions, appointment scheduling and reminders, quote and order updates, delivery and installation coordination, and warranty or service follow-up. We send promotional texts only to customers who have separately agreed to receive them.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your project and how often you contact us.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Those charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. We will send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then we will stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the information at the bottom of this page. You can rejoin at any time by texting us or asking us to add you back.

Your mobile number stays with us. We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share your number only with the messaging service provider that delivers our texts, and only so those messages can reach you. That provider is not allowed to use your number for anything else.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your information. We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information, including your phone number and email address, to anyone. We do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We have never done this and we do not intend to.

We share information only in these situations:

  • Service providers who work for us. Our website host, form and email tools, text messaging provider, CRM and design software, payment processor, and accounting system. They can use your information only to perform services for us, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
  • Partners working on your project. Manufacturers, fabricators, distributors, delivery companies, and the installers and subcontractors assigned to your job. They receive only what they need to measure, build, deliver, or install your order, such as your name, project address, phone number, and product specifications.
  • Your own team, at your direction. If you ask us to coordinate with your general contractor, designer, architect, or realtor, we will share project information with them.
  • Legal reasons. If we are required to by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, our property, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, customer information may transfer to the new owner as part of that transaction. The information would remain subject to this policy or you would be notified of any change.

None of the above is sharing for marketing purposes.

Cookies and Analytics

maplemarble.com uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device that let the site work properly and let us understand how it is being used.

We use them for:

  • Essential functions. Keeping the site secure, remembering your preferences, and making forms work.
  • Analytics. [NAME YOUR ANALYTICS TOOL] tells us which pages people visit, how they found us, and where they drop off. This helps us improve the site.
  • Advertising. [KEEP AND NAME YOUR AD PLATFORMS, OR DELETE THIS BULLET] These tools may use cookies to show our ads to people who have visited our site and to measure whether those ads worked.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do. Most browsers also support a Do Not Track signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to it, so our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track.

We do not allow third parties to collect information on our site to build marketing profiles they then sell.

How Long We Keep Information and How We Protect It

We keep your information as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and after that for as long as required for warranty, accounting, tax, and legal reasons. Project records are typically kept for the life of the warranty and beyond, because customers come back years later with questions about what was installed. Inquiries that never become projects are kept for [NUMBER] years and then deleted.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including secure hosting, limited employee access, and encrypted connections on our website and payment forms. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Your Rights

You are in control of how we contact you.

  • Texts. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them.
  • Email. Click unsubscribe at the bottom of any marketing email, or email us and ask.
  • Phone and mail. Ask us to take you off our call or mailing list.

Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about an active order or project. We still need to reach you about deliveries, installations, and service.

You can also ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your information, unless we are required to keep it for warranty, tax, accounting, or legal reasons

Email or call us using the contact information below and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Some states give residents additional privacy rights, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others. If you live in one of those states and want to exercise those rights, contact us and we will honor them. We extend the choices listed above to everyone, regardless of where they live.

Children, Other Websites, and Changes to This Policy

Children. Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us.

Other websites. Our site links to manufacturer, vendor, and partner websites. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. Read their privacy policies.

Changes. We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The current version will always be posted here with the effective date at the top. If we make a significant change to how we handle your information, we will post a notice on the site. Continuing to use maplemarble.com after an update means you accept the revised policy.
